FERTILISER RATIONING
Sir, —I read with interest, the report; on the meeting of the Eastern Bay, of Plenty Primary Production Council, particularly noting the remarks of Mr W. A. McCracken and Mr Holmes. These gentlemen spoke of the injustice done by fertiliser rationing to men with second or third class land. May I suggest, Sir, that farmers in this position apply to their local fertiliser committee, which has been set up to determine the grounds of appeal in the case of a farmer who considers -he XKk insufficient fertiliser to meet quirements. Further, may I, as a member of a fertiliser manufactur- -
ing company, assure Mr J. L. Bur-* nett that the shortage of fertiliser will riot be prolonged any longer than is essentially necessary. Yours etc., "DEMOS,"
