Inquest an Opatiki Maori An adjourned inquest into , the circumstances surrounding the death of an Opotiki Mffcri labourer, Joseph Haare, aged 22, single, was completed on Saturday morning before Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Coroners Court, Gisborne, the verdict being that Haare died at Motuhora on September 5, 1941, from thrombosis of the pulmonary artery of the heart. Dr. Harold Angell gave evidence regarding his: finding as a result of a post mortem examination he performed on- the deceased. The proceedings for the police were conducted by Sergeant A. Doel.
