HOME GUARD
THORNTON COMPANY
The Thornton Home Guard is continuing its week-end jjarades between 12 and 2 p.m. alternately on Saturdays and Sundays. This lias been found by experience to be convenient for farmers who comprise the majority of the members., Last week-end the parade was inspected by the area officers, Messrs C. R. Wilson, lan B. Gow and V. Carter. Congratulations were expressed 4o Mr Carter, who has been commandei bf the Thornton Home Guard, or his promotion toi be Second in Command in the area.
