INCREASE MAINTAINED
The August returns for the Bay of Plenty Cia-operative Dairy Association, Limited, show a general increase over the figures for the 1 corresponding month of last year.
The 308,9471b of butterfat received represented an increase of 21,3541b, the price paid being £17,634 against £16,258, an increase of £1376.
The total payout for the season to date (July-August) is £23,271, against £21,196 in 1940, an increase of £2075. Butter manufactured to date weighs 222 tons 17cwt 3qr lib, being an increase of 19 tons 13cwt Oqr 26 lb.
