PREPARATIONS AT OHOPE MANOEUVRES AT WEEK-END 1 The Engineering platoon visited Ohope Beach at the week-end and commenced the woa-k of preparing h camp which will be used for the training of officers and Ni.C.O.'s. A good start was made and the work is well advancedOther platoons spent the training period in manoeuvres on the hills between the town and. the beach, the .instruction proving interesting. MANAWAHE GUARD Owing to inclement weather conditions there was not the usual attendance at the meeting held on September 13. usual business was attended to and the meeting closed at 2.30 hours.
