RED CROSS CAMPAIGN
THE WEEK-END ACTIVITIES FUNDS MOUNTING On Friday the sale of tickets for the special picture to be presented at the Regent on Wednesday, September 17, were on sale and the saleswomen found a ready response from the general public. A first class film lias been booked for the benefit night, while the programme -will be made more attractive by the introduction of novelty au?tions and the special decoration of the vestibule of the theatre. On Saturday morning an auction sale of various goods was conducted at Mr A. J. Canning's mart and the funds further swelled.
