PEDIGREE AYRSHIRE! SALE
The first annual sale of Pedigree Ayrshire Bulls on account of Messrs Hu tellings Bros., Ngakura, was heid at the Whakatane Showgrounds on Saturday 23rd inst. The offering comprised sixteen yearling bulls, which were all well grown in good condition and of excellent type.
A very satisfactory sale resulted with an average of 39 guineas for the whole line. Individual sales were:— Lot 1: Dalemere Double Fame, R. L. Parker, Paluatua, GOgns. Lot 5: Avonsyde Gliding Star, J. A. Mitchell, Waimana, 36gns. Lot 6: Dalemere Renown, E. R. Hunt, Whakatane, 29gns. Lot 7: Dalemere Director, F. S. Skiffington, Taneatua 47gns. Lot 8: Dalemere Handsome, A. H. Adams, Whakatane, GOgns. Lot 9: Avonsyde Monarch Star, J. McGregor, Opotiki, 40gns. Lot 10: Avonsyde Cream Star, R. Malone, Rotorua, 37gns. Lot 11: Dalemere Black Fame, .7. Dunlop, Opotilci, 44gns. Lot 12: Dalemere Prince Fame, H. Eivcrs, Manawalie, 46gns. Lot 13:. Dalemere Butterboy, J. B. Cawte, Te Pulce, 35gns. Lot 14: Avonsyde Pretty Boy, E/ Looney, Waiotalii, 43gns. Lot 15: Avonsyde Stylish Laddie. E. J. Doran, Waimana, 33gns. Lot 16: Dalemere Dicky Bird, R. A. Wardlaw, Waimana, 36gns. The sale was conducted by Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., with Mr J. McCaw as auctioneer.
