PRICES SATISFACTORY
TE TEKO SALE
The New Zealand Loan and Mer cantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports a very good yarding of tt dairy and store cattle at Te Teko on Monday. The springer section was especially strong and prices although not quite ap to last sale were still vesy satisfactory.
Best early calvers made up to £14 against a top price of £15 last sale: other good quality heifers from £9 10s to £11; later calvers from £7 to £9 ss; in-calf cows from £5 to £9 Ss.
In the store section there was a better yarding of beef with prices showing an advance. Well finished Herefords and P.A. bullocks £i) 10s to £10 15s; heavy Jersey and Jersey cross cows from £6 to £7 10s: barren heifers from £6 10s to £6 14s; lighter cows from £4 10s to £5 15s; cull cows from £1 3s to £4 5s according to weight.
