FIRE AT HOSPITAL
CAUSED BY BOILER
DAMAGE NOT GREAT
The cause of the fire whichi broke out in the laundry at the Whakatane Hospital at 10 on Sunday has* been traced l to> ..have been caused, by the boiler, the heat having ignited the wooden ceiling. An estimate of the damage has no.t definitely been madte, but it is not considlered that this: wiill be great, a portion of the ceiling only beJ ing damaged by the flames.
