WEEK-END AT 1 OHOPE
For the first time officers of the Whakatane Home Guard spent tl-e week-end encamped at Ohopc Beach to undergo instruction in field work. -Area Commander C- R. Wilson was in charge of the operations, Battalion Commander C. H. Brcbncr being second in command, while sfourteen officers were present.
