ASSISTANT CONTROLLER^

VISIT

During the week the Assistant General Controller of Lighting for the Dominion* toured the Bay of Plenjty calling at Whakatane on Friday evening. On the previous evening he had inspected the arrangements at Opotiki and informed the Controller for the Bay, Mr J. D. Dicker, that 1 he* was well satisfied with conditions. A similar opinion was. formed regarding Whakatane before he movedi on to Tans ranga.
