MILITARY OBJECTORS
Sir, —Last week in the Bay of Plenty Beacon I' read the usual procedure of the Whakatane Appeal Board in which I noticed in particular two men of other countries both of whom were unwilling try give their services in the New Zealand Army.
The Loys who have been called up in the last ballot should object until such a time as all objectors are in camp or imprisoned. It is not a very nice for any eligible man for military service to hide behind some Industry which New Zealanders are producing for overseas. In our country wc should all be prepared to do cur duty if and when such time should arise. My atnoqe to objectors is that they least try and find better excuses than pro-, mises of the past to parents or relations and make up their minds to help Ncav Zealand in military warfare and let married men carry on in their, places. Yours etc., A.J.M.
