"STUNT" THAT DID NOT WORK
A story of wartime "bluff" is recounted by a New Zealand soldier in a letter to his parents. Jit* tells how, near T'obruk, the British put out some dummy wooden tanks Lo fool the Germans into bombing them. When Jerry came oyer to bomb, however, he dropped wooden bombs. The New Zealander suggested that the enemy must have a sense of humour.
