On Both Friday and Saturday aights the King Street Hall was packed to capacity when the loca) Red Cross Society funds benefitted by the presentation of a concert. The success which attended tho event was indeed well deserved a? the highly diversified programme Indicated the great deal of enthus* lastic work done by the promoters tind the extensive preparations of

The first half of the programme was .-■provided by the children ancl tlio standard of their performance was very high throughout, every item t>eing rewarded with enthusiastic applause, while the stage management ensured that not a moment ■was washed one item being followed by another. The talenj displayed by the young folk and the excellence of the costuming gained the admiration of all.
