Serious Position. ? At the Farmers' Union meeting at Etigecumbe on Thursday the chairman, Mr R. W. Strugnell, slatted that sheep farmers were in a quandary as there were 30,000 ew'es on farms yet which should have gone to the works. This meant that there would not be the pastures for the lambs and other on-coming stock.
