OPOTIKI POST OFFICE

IMPROVED FACILITIES SAYINGS BANK ACCOUNTS From ihe Ist September 1941, arrangements will be made to provide for the repayment of deposits in the Post Office Savings Bank at Opotila without the depositor being required, under ordinary circumstances, to furnish a written notice of withdrawal. The effect will be that withdrawals can be made over the counter at that office under presentation of the passbook. A condition precedent to this arrangement is the transifer of the savings bank account to Opotiki from Gisborne, where it is open at present. Depositors will, however, suffer no monetary! loss by the change, ptk! only a minimum of inconvenience. Every depositor is urged to hand to the-postmaster his passbook and a completed form of notice to transfei the account on the 27th instant or as soon thereafter as convenient. In the course of a few days a new book will be issued and forwarded to the depositor through the Postmaster.
