TANEATUA BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Wo* men's Division of 'the Farmers' Union, Taneatua, was held on Tuesday, July 15. The vice-president, Mrs Mitchell, presiding over a large attendance of members. After the routine business had been disposed of Mrs G. C. Phillips 1 ' gave a'talk, and demonstrated the care and bandaging of every day wounds. The competitions were won by the following members: Melon jam, Mrs P. Anderson 1, Mrs Hill 2, Mrs 'Mitchell 3. Knitted baliaclava, Mrs Merrie 1, Mrs Le Gomte 2, Mrs: Fox 3. Single flower, Mrs Prince 1, Mrs M£N chell 2, Mrs. Marsdqn 3. Double flower, Mrs Mitchell 1, Mrs Marsdeu 2. The hostesses were Mrs W. Rich, ardson, Mrs Tebbutt and Mrs Peebles Snr.
