Soldier's Generosity. The generosity of a soldier going overseas on active service is exemplified in Greymouth by the action of a prosperous co-operative mine shareholder who, before he left, look-' ed round the' mining district of Runanga for the man with the largest family. When he found him be gave him his share of the mine free on the stipulation that hei could get it back when he returned from the war. The share in the mine was worth more than £10 a week at a conservative estimate.
