BUSINESS ENVELOPES / V In view of the general need for conservation of paper supplies, the Post and Telegraph Department has decided, by way of a trial, to relax the present restriction on the acceptance in tlio post of reused envelopes bearing automatic stamping machine impressions which have served their original purpose. In future envelopes bearing such impressions may be reused, and will be accepted in the post on the following conditions: —A label must be used which will cover the: original address on the envelope, the name and address of the. original sender (if given) and all old postage stamps, stamp impressions and any other markings,. In every case the department will continue to insist on reused covers being in good condition.
