Porker killings (209,136 in the North Island, and 7953 in the South) total 217,089, showing an increase of 125,563 carcases. Baconer killings were as follows: North Island 280,064 (compared with 313,285); South Island 9180 (11,967) a decrease this? season of 36,008 carcass.
