Inside the conduct of the dance and the, programme was. capably controlled by two other members of the service, Misses J. Barrowman and Miss Bullard, while the music of the orchestra was lend by the Leader of the Auxiliary, Mrs Armstrong. In the snipper room the members of the Canteen Corp were on duty, while the work of the Signallers was evident when decorations werd noted, their flags; being prominent. The diversified programme of dances attracted many, couples who continued dancing until a late hour. As well as marking the occasion of the Auxiliary's first "all in" effort, tho function also dated the last appearance of Mrs Armstrong's orchestra as a band, owing to men leaving for service, added to the fact that Mrs Armstrong is finding her time fully occupied with oilier dutias, the decision having been made to disjband.
