PERSONAL
Mr A. McLennan, of Gisborne, is visiting. Mrs McLennan, of Hinemoa Street. Mr F.. W. Doidge, M.F. for T'auranga, is to address a meeting of the National Party at Wanganui to-mor-row. Gunner R. A. Tims, of Wliakatane, leaves to join the Artillery at Paxjakura camp on Saturday next. Sergeant R. A. A. Prater, of the Wellington Police Force, spent the week-end at Whakatane. Mr Prater who was recently transferred to the capital city statesi that he is finding his city duties enjoyable. Mr and Mrs L. B. Savage leave Whakatane to-day to take up residence at Te Aroha.. Mr Savage, who for the past two years has been managing the local branch of the Bank of New Zealand, and who has, for three months, been at Te Aroha is tc take control of the Te Aroha branch in a permanent capacity. Mr and Mrs Savage were entertained frequently last week at farewell evenings.
