TE TEKO SALE The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Go. reports a full yarding of cattle at Te Tcko on Monday with a satisfactory clearance. There was only a small yarding of beef killable cows making from £4 10s to £6 7s 6d. Heavy boner cows from £3 10s to £4 10s. Lighter from £1 10s to £3. There was a big yarding of jural f heifers and cowsi and the advertised line on account of Mr W. Hunter brought good competition for any forward cattle, but late calvers were not so keenly sought after. Best early heifers made from £10 to £11. More backward £8 10s to £9 10s. Late and small £G 15s to £8. Early calving sound cows from £9 to £11. Later calvers from £7 to £8 lQs. Yearling Jersey and Jersey cross calves from £3 to £4 Bsi. There was also a line of draught horses and hacks on account of Mr J. Wood, of Morrinsville, the draughts making from £20 to £35 for good sorts broken to all harness. The hacks sold readily from £12 109 to £20. Clearance Sale. The New Zealand Loan and Mer candle Agency Co. Ltd. reports a most successful clearing sals held on account of Mr W. D. Jones ot ANvakeri. Tliore Avas a large attendance of the public and competition was very spirited throughout. Out of the 105 head, 84 in-calt cows averaged £13 10s while the whole herd, including 21 empty cows, averaged £11 los. Best early calvers made from £19 to £20 ss. Others from £15 to £18 10s. Later calvers from ££) to £14. o ! ne aged mare made £21 10s, one 4-year mare £24 10s. Sows to farrow brought from £4 5s to £5 15s.
