ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
QUIETLY carrying on with their work, the St. John Ambulance Association is meeting with more than its shar.e of troubles. Shortage of active members has compelled those of its organisation to spread themselves more in order to maintain the work and give the service where it is needed. On Thursday next the organisation holds its annual meeting and the public is reminded that wherever possible young men and youths should be encouraged to join up and learn the lessons of First Aid and other general medical knowledge. The Brigade is already doing fine work with the Boy Saouts, and is playing a big part in the training of the Ambulance corps associated with the Headquarters Company of the Home Guard. A greater public interest however is required. Thursday evening will furnish those willing to assist with the opportunity of doing so
