EMERGENCY NEEDS
PRECAUTIONS TAKEN The Whakatane Emergency Precautions Committee, among many and varied other matters being -cared for, is making suitable arrangements for the staring of a sufficient supply of flour in the district for use in the event of an emergency. The organisation of the Scheme in the County is well advanced the reports of the District Wardens revealing that no time or effort is being spared in preparing! for any possible contingency.
