MISSIONARY EVENING
VISIT OF ORGANISER A very pleasant function was held in Knox Sunday School Hall on Tuesday evening, I.7th inst., when Mrs Rutherford Waddell, Dominion Organising Secretary of the Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union, the Girls' Auxiliary, and the Busy Bees, was the', guest of honour and chief speaker of the evening. In the absence of the Rev. H. Hogg, the Rev. J. Cx. Laughton, o» Ohope, presided over a good attendance. A short programme of musical items, and a missionary playette was provided by various member? of the Bible Classes, Girls' Auxiliary. Busy Bees and Choir. Mrs Wad dell gave a most interesting address on her experiences in connection with the organisation;she represents, relieved with many fouehes of humour. Tn thanking the speaker. MT.'inghton, in felicitous terms, expressed the hearty appreciation o l ' all present, of her so instructive and inspiring message. -V happy half hour was spent "vc supper, provided by the P.W.M.V ladies.
