"HUSH-HUSH" SLOGAN
WOMEN IN THE HOME DANGER OF IDLE TALK What do women talk about over that afternoon cup of tea ? The temptation these days is to swing, to the topic that is in every mind —the war. Perhaps; some member cf the party has heard a piece of news which may or may not be fact, but whichever is the case, she feels the urge to tell .iier friends and discuss with them the significance of the news. If it is something, the telling of which may injure our war effort, may be an avenue of information to the enemy or may result in losr of the lives of some of our men, she should hold her peace. But it is difficult to keep a secret; she may thoughtlessly mention the information she has heard. To keep prominently before women the danger of idle talk, a Melbourne paper is inviting its' readers to submit short hush-hush slogans to act as a warning.
