YOUNG FARMERS MEET

EDGECUMBE BRANCH The regular monthly meeting of the Young Farmers' Club, was held last week at Edgecumbe, and although there was a poor attendance, much business was 1 dealt with. A welcome was extended to Mir lan Gow, an advisory; president, who was present at the meeting and afterwards who discussed with members the "pros and cons" of debating, affecting both the affirmative) and negative sides. A member of the club, Mr G. Crang, then spoke on the District Council meeting held at Hamilton which he attended as a delegate, and proved quite interesting. The meeting closed with supper.
