WHAKATANE CLUB ANNUAL MINTING The annua] mooting of the Whakataiic Ladies' Golf Club was hold at the Clubhouse on April 2.'i whon there was a good attendance of members-. Mrs Buddile presided. Al'tor the minutes of the previous annual general meeting had been read Mrs Buddie presented the annual report covering the season's aetivities. The past season's membership, including junior limited and honorary members was GO. The treasurer's report read by Mrs Otlev, showed a credit balance. Election of Officers. The election of officers resulted as follows:— President: Mrs Buddie, Captain: Mrs Stool. Vice-Captain: Mrs Bullard. Secretary: Mrs Spence. Committee: Mrs Otley, Mrs Luxton, Mrs Sloane, Mrs Donaldson, Mrs Timbs, Mrs Winstono., Mrs Berg and Mrs Dcwar. After a general discussion regarding Saturday play, Mrs Do war moved a vote' of thanks to the retiring Club Captain, Mrs Bullard,, for having so ably carried, out 11 ;■ r duties ::;ver a period of years. This was carried by acclamation. Votes of thanks to the" "Beacon" to the secretary, to the outgoing committee, lo those, who arranged transport and to the Chair were carried unanimously, and the meeling was then closed.
