TO STAND AGAIN FOR COUNCIL

At the meeting of the Whakatane Counly Council last Tuesday, the Chairman, Mr Burnett, read a cablegram from the ex-chairmanv Mr J. G. CliffMcCulloch, who is at present serving with the Royal Navy in which he intimated his pleasure in accepting nomination once again for the Omataroa Riding on the Council. Mr Cliff-McCulloch thanked lhe council members for their kindly thoughts and expressed the hope that he would be with them soon again.
