.Patrol W. L. Dixon, of the Auckland Automobile Association, has taken up duty at Whakatanev Mr L. E, Norriss, supervisor at the local Post Office who has been a re<sident of Whakatane for the past eight years, has received notice of transfer on promotion to Kilbirnie, Wellington. Mr Norriss will be postmaster at that suburb of - the cap!-* tal city, and will leave to take up his new diutiesi in about six weeks time.
