Pursuant to Section 7 of "The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925" and amendments and "The Harbours Act, 1923" and other acts if any, I hereby give notice that an election will be held on Saturday the 17th day of May, 1941, for the purpose of electing one member for Matata Riding, County of Whakatane oni the Tauranga Harbour Board and I hereby appoint Monday sth day of May, 1941,, BEFORE NOON, as the day and time, and the Whakatane County Council Office, Whakatana, as the place, for the nomination of candidates for such office. Excepting only Tarawera and Rangitaiki Ridings, where two councillors have to be elected, only one councillor has to be elected for each of the oilier Ridings and I hereby appoint the Whakatane County Council Office, Whakatane, as the place and Monday the sth day of May, 1911 BEFORE NOON, as the day and time for the nomination of candidates for office.
