WAIMANA DANCE

A very successful dance in aid ot funds for the Women's War Service Auxiliary was organised by the Girls' Committee on Easter Monday and netted quite a substantial sum for the fund. The music was supplied by the local orchestra, the Home Guard Rhythm Makers, who certainly live up to their name. Mr H. Wardlaw kindly acted as M.C. and on behalf of the W.W.S.A Committee thanked the girls for their effort. The Monte Carlo wallzes were won by Mr R, Skiffingto'i and Miss A. Skiff ington and Miss J,. Grover and partner. A ten shilling note was won by Mr H. Boynton.
