ADJUSTMENT OF PRICES Various alterations in the costs of producing board by Whakatane Paper Mills, Limited, have rendered necessary an adjustment of the prices at which the company's products are sold. These adjustments have been made by the Price Tribunal, and the new maximum selling prices have been fixed in a price order issued bj' the tribunal -covering the cycle of production from April to June, 1941< One of the conditions of sale has been altered to meet the position where buyers require delivery to be made in the South Island at ports other than Lyttelton, Port "Chalmers or Dunedin. Allowance //for freight in the previous prices Approved by the tribunal was sufficient only to cover shipments to these main ports. Where delivery is made in future to other ports, allowance for freight will be deducted from the price and the actual payments for freight will be charged to the purchaser.
The incidence of war risk has -also been made clear. The cost of such insurance has not been allowed for in the approved prices, but where purchasers require such ini surance to be arranged they will be charged the actual cost of it.
