GARDEN PARTY

Many thanks are again extended to Mr and Mrs Alex McLean for the use of their grounds when a most successful Garden Party were held recently by the Rangitaiki subbranch of the Piunket Society. The lawns and gardens were thronged with visitors, every one having an enjoyable time in perfect weather. Competitions and raffles were well patronised and the Bring and, Buy Stall did a brisk trade throughout the afternoon. The proceeds amounted to £25, with a donation of £1 each from Mrs Andrew McLean and Mrs Maunder and subs handed in brings the total to £28 for the day. The committee wishes to thank all those who assisted in making the day such a success.
