Caws With Saddles. The latest patriotic enterprise of Mr J. Hunt, New Plymouth, aroused the interest and amusement of shoppers in the town the other day. Leading a placid cow, carrying a saddle, bridle and a bunch of carrots on its nose, Mr Hunt walked vip tind down Devon Street requesting donations for the patriotic fund, which he later handed to the Mayor, Mr L. R. C. Gilmour. A placard set upright on the cow's back bore the words, "Opening Up New Country. Milking Cows With Saddles." Mr Hunt himself carried a milking stool and a handbag for donations. Heart paliptations often mean strain from excess fat. Remove fat with Bonkora. F. G. Macltlcw, Chemist, Whakalane.
