LYCEUM CLUB

DRAMA CIRCLE

The annual meeting of the Drama Circle of the Lyceum Club took place on Thursday afternoon last to elect officers and to discuss a programme for the coming season. Those present were: Mirs S. Spence, Mrs E. Armstrong,. Mrs L. Littlejohn Mrs T. W. James, Mrs Arthur Bridger, Mrs J. Conolly, Mrs C. Southey Mrs Aj- Cole, Mrs G. Farmer,, Mrs G. Thomas, Masses Howell, M. White side and B. Allan. The report of activities for 1940. and the balance sheet were read by Miss Whiteside, showing that the circle was in a sound financial position. The following committee was elected : Convenors, Mrs E. Armstrong, Mrs L. Littlejohn; secretary, Miss M. Whiteside; committee, Mesdames C. Thomas, Vercoe, FletcherCole, Rune i man, Arthur Bridger and Mi.j?s Howc-11. It was decided to commence the neason Avith a drama afternoon on May 1 at 2 p.m.
