ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
CERTIFICATES GAINED LAST NIGHT'S CEREMONY Evidence of the excellent worlc being accomplished by the local branch of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was exhibited last night when the President of the organisation, Mr A. J. Canning, presented [ to members certificates earned during the year. The enthusiasm, >■ which has beeta even greater since the war has called for special effort was obvious by the large at-* tendance. Certificates were presented as followes :— First Year: Mrs R. M. Cattanachr Misses Ann Nowland, Eunice Hatcher Mary K. Hansen, Margaret Henry, Messrs Walter EL Armstrong, Jolm E. Bigelow, Frank R. E. Darvill, Davixl J. Scragg; (Junior) Miss. Joyce Z. Wetherall. Second Year: Mrs Clara Bishop, Brs Myrtle Z. Wetherall: Messrs Stephen G. Bishop, James H. Delves Roy C. Hill. Medallion (3rd year) : Mrs Bessie Cowie, Mrs Mary Larsen; IVEsses Josephine Hall, Margaret Simpson, Marie Melville; Messrs Raymond Ferry, Jim Morice, Frederick K. Wederell.
