PAPAKURA AND WAIOURU MEM SPECIAL BUS RUNS Parents and friends of men iin camp Avere pleased at the Aveek-end when a number of troops of t,he Fifth Reinforcements as Avell as a number of the Mounted Rifles from Waiouru spent a short leave in Whakatane. The men from the Papakura camp chartered a special bus to bring them home and, although their stay Avas short, the leaA'e AA*as none the less enjoyable. Shortly after 5 p.m. many cars lined the street near the Bank of NeAV Zealand from Avhere the bus AA r as to depart and a large number of people saAA r the men off on their return journey.
