HIT BY CAR
SCHOOLCHILD INJURED CYCLIST ALSO HIT A schoolgirl, Daphne Romana, .aged 10 years, of Piripai, was stiruck by, a car yesterday and is now an inmate of the local hospital. Alighting from the school bus she walked from behind it to be knock«d over and sustain a broken thigh . and in addition abrasions and contusions to the head and face. . Her condition this morning is reported to be satisfactory. Fall From Bicycle A fall from his bicycle resulted in a lad aged 13 years being admitted to the local hospital. He is George Thrupp, who when he took ihe spill landed on both hands with the result that he sustained a fr»cV ture of both wrists.
