Mrs N. Bremner is paying a visit to Wellington. Mr and M'rs C. Kingsley-Smith left on Saturday to spend a holiday touring in the Auckland and North Auckland districts.
Prior to his leaving on return to j Papakura Camp, Gnr. Bert Norman j was the guest of both the Centen** j ary Lodge 1.0.0.F.< and the Referees' Association. Many members of the Lodge gathered to wish him a safe return and during the evening Bros. E. Currah, C. Head, H. Kingon, A. O'Atourke and TV. Rixoii paid tribute to the fine qualities of the departing member. Mr Currah, on behalf of the members presented Gnr. Ncrman with a money belt. On Friday evening the members of the Referees* Association took the opportunity of bidding farewell to Gnr. Norman and .regret at the loss of his services to Rugby was expressed by the president, Mr W. Henderson, who handed the guest a silver cigarette case which was inscribed with his initials and Army number.
