Sir,—With your permission I should like to air a grievance or several. Stewart Street, the main and only thoroughfare to the Hospital has been ncglccted for years. The footpaths and lighting of this important street are a disgrace to the Borough. At long last, the man with the mower has come along this morning (Monday).
For weeks now the paspalum has been feet high on parts of the footpaths and both sides of the* roads,. Why was a path never formed be-> tween the two hospital gates—a most dangerous part to negotiate for women with perambulators and little children. Neither of the paths have ever been finished properly, although hundreds of pedestrians traverse Stewart Street weekty. Yours etc., LONG SUFFERING MOTHER.
