GARDEN PARTY
CROQUET CLUB FUNCTION
Despite the weather being dull and overcast last Saturday, quintet an enjoyable afternoon was spent at the annual garden party of the Croquet Club. A Bring and Buy! Stab, under the management of Mesdames Baxter and Guest, did brisk business. Several competitions were held the winners being as follows: Treasure Hunt, for visitors only: Mrs Meuller: Clock Golf: Mrs Mulliolland; lloop Competition: Mrs Hunter; Golf Croquet: Mirs Shaw; Bell Competition: Mrs Bigelow. After a dainty afternoon tea was served, the Club's President, Mrs A. C. Shaw, presented the prizes.
