INFANT LOSES FINGERS

MISHAP WITH AXE While an older child was chopping wood an infant placed her hand 011 the block and as a result |h,ais loot one and a half joints of the index and middle linger of the right hand. This accident occurred, yesterday the child being Carol Benseman, daughter of Mr and Mrs Benseman, of Hawera Street. On being admitted to the local Hospital it was found necessary to completely remove the joints.
