THUMBS UP!

NO FOOD SHORTAGE NEWS FROM "HOME" A resident of Taluanui has received an interesting letter from England, which further illustrates the marvellous spirit of the people. The writer states': — "There is no food shortage, only some things are not to be had, 01* are very limited. Butter, of course, is short, but not margarine. "All you read about England and the people is tiue. It is quite amazing how the people just go on with their daily alTnirs even with bombs about. It is amazing also how some people escape from injury. An old lady friend of mine came down from the top of her house and landed under her dining-room table with only' a few bruises."
