GIFT OF £25
MAN WHO MOVED BOMB FINE REDUCED TO £5 A cheque for £25 was presented to Mr F. G. Leighton-Morris, who removed an unexploded bomb from the flat next to the one in which he lives in Jermyn Street, London. Contributors to the gift included residents and shopkeepers.. The fine of £100 imposed on Mr Leighton-Morris at Bow Street* Police Court for removing the bomb was reduced by the Home Secretary to £5.
