PUBLIC NOTICES > WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the WHAKATA&E CIL proposes 16 apply to the Gov-< ernor-General for the issue of an Order-in-Council under Section 182 of "The Counties Act 1920" conferring upon the said Whakatane County Council the powers of Borough Councils with respect to the supply of water for domestic and/or industrial purposes, as set out and contained in Sections 82 to 88 inclusive (with the exception of Section 85), Part XX and Section 346' of "The Municipal Corporations Act 1933", such powers to be exercisable over the whole of the County of Whakatane, or such part or parts, thereof as the said Council shall from time to time determine jby l Special Order. ; ALL persons who have any ob- ; jection to the said powers being r conferred upon the Whakatane > County Council as aforesaid must state tlieir objections in writing and send the same within twenty-one ) (21) days from the date of the first ■ .publication of this notice to the Honourable, the Minister of InterAffairs at Wellington.
