WHAKATANE BOWLING CLUB ANNUAL TE PUKE VISIT Eight local rinks journeyed to Te Puke on Saturday on their annual visit. The weather was fine, but not hot, and some great games resulted. Whakatane ran out the winners with 109 points to 197, each side winning 4 games. Baker, Cooper, Manning, Corsin (s) 32 v Butler, Smithy Tippett, Luxton (s) 20. Milne, Caklwall, Freeman, Pearce (s) 28 v Murphy, J. Bell,> Grant,. Burgess (s) 22. Fox, Burnett, Riddle, Knight (s) 21 v Shapley, Boon, E. J. Bell, Francis (s) 38. Barrett, Irvine, Russell,' Schofield (s) 2/7 v Dixon, Beck, Marsh, Jforris (s) 20.
