EDGECUMBE PIG SALE

BACONERS TO £4 12/-

The Farmers' Auctioneering Co. report having held their fortnightly sale at the above yards on Monday. The largest yarding of the season was offered to a full bench of buyers. Baconers were yarded in large numbers and sold under keen competition. We quote:—

Heavy baconers £4 8s to £4 12s; medium baconers £4 to £4 ss; light baconers £3 10s to £3 15s; heavy porkers £2 12s to £2 19s; medium porkers £2 4s to £2 8s; buttermilk pigs to £3 8s; slips to £1 9s; weaners 10s to 15s; choppers £3 15s to £4 2s. The next sale will be held on January 27.
