Albert, Auckland, is staying with her daughter, Mrs H. Bell* Waimana. Miss Gwen Graeff is spending a fortnight's holiday in Rotorua with her grand parents, Mr and' Mrs jQ* Mr Graeff. Mr and Mjrs R. Smith and their baby daughter are the guests of Mrs Smith's parents, Mr and Mrs R. Fleming, Waimana. Mr Robert Fraser is to give an address on "Scotland's Immortal Bard" at the Burns Birttiilay Celebration of the Waihi Caledonian Society on 25th January next. Mrs Wilson has returned to her home in Auckland, after spending three weeks holiday in and was the guest of Mrs E. A, Bell. The engagement is announced of Mabel, elder daughter of Mr ama Mirs F. R. Brown, Otipua Road, Timaru, and Maurice George, only con of Mr and Mrs A. C. Shaw. Salonika Street. Whakatane. ENGAGEMENT The engagement is announced of Miss T. M.
